Massage Therapist Allison Menter was born into a large family of hospitality professionals and has been learning the ins and outs of the travel industry since her earliest years which were spent at a small family-owned motel, the Wakita. Though Allison’s professional path has had many turns and detours, her connection to the family business always remained. From showing and renting motel rooms at the age of 9, to Director of Sales and Assistant General Manager, Allie grew along with the “small family business” that now includes a collection of Hotels, Resorts and Inns. Today you may hear Allison yell out “Wakita” when she calls for her 4-legged companion who is loving her new life on the farm. Over the last decade, Allison has really honed in on her passion for the healing arts through a variety of modalities and practices including massage therapy, yoga, meditation, breath-work, nutrition, and ecotherapy.
